Tika is developing innovative reagents for improving rapid diagnosis of mycobacterial infections. Tika has discovered and optimised the use of a new supplement that in a laboratory setting can significantly reduce the time for detection in liquid media. In addition, the Company has shown that this supplement can increase the sensitivity and speed of growing colonies on solid media which could significantly improve the speed and accuracy of antibiotic resistance testing.
