Description |
CareLoop supports people with severe mental illnesses (SMIs). Using a smartphone, patients give regular feedback and access self-management tools. Clinicians view insights remotely and are automatically notified if a patient becomes unwell for early action to prevent relapse. It is a registered Class I medical device, recommended by NICE through the EVA programme. People with SMIs are significantly more likely to attend urgent and emergency departments even though these may not be the best places to receive the care they need. CareLoop’s helps patients manage their mental health in the community to reduce the use of emergency and hospital services. |
