Project | Improving equality of access to mental health support via digital peer-support. |
---|---|
Description |
MeeToo is a multi-award winning early intervention mental health service. It has been recognised globally as one of the most important innovations in both education and mental health. MeeToo delivers fully moderated, evidence-based, anonymous, peer support to young people aged 11-25 via an app. The app is age banded and includes an extensive directory of third party support services and educational resources. Since launching in 2017 MeeToo has supported 60,000+ young people in the UK. An independent evaluation in 2021 by the Evidence Based Practice Unit at The Anna Freud Centre for Families and Children found statistically significant evidence that MeeToo improves the mental health of young people (Edbrooke-Childs, 2022, pre-print). |
